Greece is mostly famous for its mathematicians, philosophers, Olympic games and democracy, which also began in there. 46 public and 10 private institutions offer higher academic education. The rate of university graduates in Greece is 28.9% and the percentage of international students is around 5%. EU students are exempted from paying any fees, although international students from outside of EU are obligated to partially fund their study place in university. These fees are set pretty low what still allows many foreigners to participate in higher educational process in France.
