There are lots of educational opportunities in Bolivia. People come here from all over the world to grab the best system of education. Currently, there are 8 public universities, and 1 private university, and over 15000 foreign students are here. Each of these universities can award degrees to their graduates. The government devotes about 23% of its annual income to the pursuit of education. Spanish remains the language of instruction at all levels. Some foreign students are not happy about the absence of bilingual education, and this has given rise to the high number of dropout rates among school children.
